Fic post (when I should be doing other things...) [30 Sep 2003|06:05pm] [ mood | busy ] I should be beta-ing fics for celli and tstar78. I should be making clips of Tom on "The View" and "TRL", which have been promised to a website-running friend. I should be posting about the adorable-ness of one lyra_sena, with whom I got to watch the Alias premiere and squee like a wild thing. (I'm dead serious on the adorable factor of Lyra -- wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home with me. Only the fear of Nifra-retribution for a Pod kidnapping saved Lyra from my clutches. *winks and loves on both members of The Pod*) But! I have a story done and past the beta testing phase. Knowing full well that no one on LJ will be reading anything but SV meta posts tomorrow night, I'm putting it up now *g*. Y'all know about Celli's Babysitting Universe, right? If not, go now! Funness and BYO subtext for everybody! *grins* Anyhoo, I was doing some catch up reading recently, and I fell in love with this universe. One night in chat with Caro, I brought up one thing I noticed. "Umm, does Chloe get any action in this universe?" asked I. Caro simply grinned at me. By the end of the night, I'd been grated admission to play in the sandbox with Celli, Caro, and Shell. What follows is the first story of mine that is set in the Babysitting 'verse. In her most recent story for the 'verse, Right Man: Right Job?, Caro introduced the character of Eric Daniels. You'll be getting to know more about him here and in future stories *g*.
